Most of the traffic during the week gathers in the commercial area of downtown, as well as in the school areas.

The weekends shows a drastic shift where most of the traffic gathers in the areas closer Biscayne Blvd.

Most of the events in downtown Miami are done in the American Airlines Arena. However, events like the Ultra Musical Festival is annually presented for few days in the Bay-Front-Park. Also, the MDC Book Fair is and important event that is presented for couple days but brings significant amount of people to the area.
