During our research of Downtown Miami, we initially focused on the public transportation system and its connection to historic sites in Downtown Miami. The Metro mover proved to be an important asset to the city. Although it functioned well in circulating local residents around the area, we found areas that could be improved. These modifications are seen in our pedestrian paths which outline popular routes taken when comming from a stop. Then as seen below we performed an in depth analysis of major programs throughout the area in order to clearly understand and see where major improvements can be made. This urban site study was extremely helpful when dealing with locality and providing the area with an important identity.
